Ok, I have 6in Pro Comp, with the 6in Coil Spacer. I need about an extra inch or inch and a half to eliminate my rubbing. Could I just stack a 1.5in level on that 6in Pro Comp Spacer?

I'd say your best bet is to order the Daystar 2-1/2" leveling kit and only use the part that goes inside the bucket which should net you about 1-1/2" of lift. Just don't use the bottom part.

Does this go in the shock? Like I would need a spring compressor? Or just on top of it?

Yes, you would need a spring compressor, but it would make it so were only using the procomp spacer and not stacking.

That procomp coil spacer is garbage. I have seen pics here where it bent through the shock tower bucket before. I'd spend the extra coin and go for new coilovers.

Thumper the thing you were talking about is using the part of the spacer that doesn't go in the shock right?

extremeethan, I am definitely interested in your shocks. Please email me more info at: kalebarellano@gmail.com. I would like to buy something asap, cause right now I am doing 5 point turns everywhere to avoid rubbing.

Thanks

kalebarellano, what is your setup? what year truck and is it a 2x4 or 4x4, and what tires/wheels are you trying to clear?

i have the 6" pro comp spacer lift as well on my 05 2x4. i just bought 2 inch revtek coil sring spacers and wanted to put them on. thing is that the spindles in the pro comp kit are a little small, and with the lift on it as it sits it is already putting your upper balljoints beyond factory specs. adding any type of spacer wether it be the one in the coil pack, or stacked on top of the already existing pro comp spacer will give you a hell of a angle on your upper balljoint and could possibly bust it if you hit the right pothole. i wouldnt do it, instead, do some trimming to try and accomidate the bigger tires. or if you are a rebel, i have these 2" revtek coil packs spacers i can sell you for 50$ shipped. Let me know what you wanna do. inooqz@hotmail.com

i originally got the idea from you bud, and i was going to add that coil spring spacer till i ran into that upper balljoint angle. the difference with yours is you have the CST lift which comes with new upper control arms and uni-*****. you're able to run the angles that us factory balljoint users cannot.

That's strange. I have the 6" procomp lift as well, but my ball joints sit perfectly. I only know because of all the buzz about ball joint angles lately made me curious so I went and checked my own. They are practically dead strait from A-arm to spindle.

Im pretty sure the pro comp puts the upper ball joint at a stock or close to stock angle.
