That's a choice only you can make. Not a lot of guys can afford a lift and a new truck, so most lifted trucks have a fair number of miles on them.

If you want a lifted truck, do that. If you want a new truck, do that. If you can afford both, do that.

I think Bryndon about sums it up. What can your wallet afford or what are you willing to spend? Me, I was able to afford the new truck, but then had to save up a little over a year to get the mods I have completed so far. Now I'm saving up for my next batch.

if it's one or the other, lift you current truck. personally, i would take a bit older truck (04 is still practically new -- atleast to me!!) and just have mroe mods on it than say, a brand new truck w/ a few mods. of course, theres always the brand new truck and all the trick mods

If you like the truck you have now, keep it and lift it.

But that is me talking and I have a 2001 with 145,500 miles and am fixing to lift it. I plan to keep it another 100k though. I like it better than the new ones (And yes I had an '04, didn't care for it. some stuff I liked better, but as a whole I like my '01).

So it comes down to what you want worse and can afford.

I would lift it. It will be like a new truck and hopefully keep you content for another 50k-100k miles.

Exactly. I say you lift what you have now. I have a 2000 with 126k miles and am planning on lifting mine to clear 38's sometime this year. I'm also planning on keeping the truck for another 100k. I'd love to have a new truck, but I'd love to have my truck tricked out more.
