Pretty cheesy dumping a known problem on someone else.

I wonder if the previous guy did the SkyJacker 3" and had the front shocks fail... then put the factory shocks back in.

I didnt dump it on someone else...it was a dealer that bought it from me and he knows about it and he absolutely ****ed me on the deal! I would nt do that to someone because then they'd be in the same boat as me!

Why not replace the shocks and keep it?

Am I missing somthing that a $200 purchase could solve this?

This is not including broken parts but the new shocks will *supposedly* not be stressed by the lift any further. Right?

Well a while ago I posted a thread asking if I should keep the truck or buy a mustang.....I own a construction company and just bought a brand new 350 dump truck to drive around...so i thought it was stupid to pay 140 to fill the dump and another 100 to fill the f150 when I dont even need the 150 anymore....since i bought the pickup Ive had a lot of problems with it. If it was just the shocks I'd keep it, but Ive already gone thru gears, 4wd transfer case, brakes, had the truck reflashed, hid headlight ballast and now the shocks....the truck has a lot of aftermarket parts installed and unfortunately for me, the previous owner tried to save some $$ and hack the installs himself, costing me a lot of money, and completely voiding my warranty (truck only has 16,000 mi.!) needless to say, Ill never buy a vehicle from a private seller again! Its way to risky, and theres little to no protection for the buyer! 05 mustang gt, here i come!
