Is 05 and 06 special?

Hello everyone. its been a really long time since i posted something so bare with me.

http://www.fatbobsgarage.com/cart/in...d=83&parent=16

On this webpage there is a 3" leveling product for the '04 to /07 Ford F150. in the description it says...

..."This gives you the clearance and ability to add wheels and tires up to 33"...

Then, later in the same description it says...

"2005-2006 Ford F150 users can also fit tire diameters to 35 inches."...

Is there something special about that year truck that allows more clearance? Is there a different suspension set-up? What gives? Or is the article just full-of-doo-doo?

Please reply. I'm currently looking for the tallest and cheapest lift kit out there. I'm thinking a leveling kit with AAL's, or maybe a body lift and a leveling kit, or maybe... whatever. Opinions and thoughts welcome...

By the way.. Why is this site advertising for the new Chevy Tahoe? lol

So if I get aftermarket rims with the same backspacing as OEM I can get a 35" tire to fit?

Yeah but they'd have to be 7.5" wide as well.

I'm just guessing, but it may have something to do with the brake lines too...they are slightly different on the '04's.

I think it's just a misprint. Plus, I wouldn't pay over $200 for the Readylift leveling kit when everyone else sells essentially the same product for $100.

I don't know about 3" in a spacer, I wouldn't go over 2.5" without some other mods to your suspension, like longer control arms or drop down bracketry.

Go with the Autospring, search Ebay for seller SpringBender. $100 shipped for whatever size; 1-1/2 inch, 2" inch, and 2-1/2" inch.
