Question Lifts

Who sells a good suspension lift for a 02 supercrew, about a 4 inch. (kinda cheap!) Also what would that lift look like with 32s or 33s. How bad would that affect my MPG? thanks for the help.

Fx4. How good of mpg do you get with your truck? I would like to keep my 17inch wheels and maybe put a little bigger tire on, but not much, I just want it to look right with the lift and not too much fender well gap.

Your OEM 265/70-17 tires are basically a 32x10.50 tire, so you will want at least 33's with a lift. I have the 5.4 engine, 3.55 gears, 35 inch tires and get 13 mpg (combined city/highway). If you just want a little larger tire you could just crank up the torsion bars to level your truck and run some 285/70-17 (33x11.50), 295/70-17 (34x12.00) or 305/65-17 (33x12.50) tires.

cranking the torsion bars wont put any strain on the truck anywhere will it, or wear the tires uneven?

You will need to have the front end alined afterwards. If you go too high, it will put the CV joints at a severe angle which will increase wear.
