From my expierence, it all depends on the truck. How much higher it the back than the front now? I netted over 3" with the 2.5" A.S. and a little over 2.5" with the 2" A.S.

like hmfic said...the 2.5 will make the front sit level or just a little higher than the rear. I had a 2 and then went with the 2.5 and im very happy with it. It all depends on what you want. the 2 will be slightly lower than the rear but not by much.

Prior to my lift I had the AS 2.5" kit on my truck. Visually it sat perfectly level. From a measurement stand it sat slightly higher in the front, but was in no way noticable to the naked eye. I'd recommend the 2.5" kit.

On my '05 FX4 I had, there was a bigger rake to it than my new '07 had.
I just put on a 2" AS on the KR and I am actually a slightly higher in the front now. You only can tell by measuring though.

Not sure on this, but I almost think that they changed something for '07 becasue all the trucks I saw at the dealer also did not appear to have as much rake to them as they have in the past..

My 07 FX4 is 2" lower in the front than the rear stock. So I would be at least 1" higher in the front using a 2.5" on my truck (net of 3"+). I am undecided what to do now as I do not know if I want to raise the rear also, at least not yet.

However, my buddy's 05 FX4 is .25" lower in the front that the rear with a 2.5" leveling kit so I really think that they did change something in the newer trucks.

Visually, all that I see is the lower A-Arms are not the bulky black steel that they used to be but I do not think that would have anything to do with it.

I put a 2" AS on my 07 and actually got 2.5". I am now dead level from front to back. Very happy with it.
