I am getting ready to order the Pro Comp 6" Spacer Kit, 17x10 Diamo Karat's (Black/Polished) and 35x12.5 MT Baja ATZ's. I know people hate on Pro Comp because of the front crossmember and how nasty looking it looks and that is why I will get the skid plate to cover it up. My question is: I have seen a couple of different trucks on here that are running this lift on (04-present) them. Some sag in the rear and some don't. I have a 06 SCREW 4x4 XLT. Is it gonna sag and do I need a AAL?

You can get the Pro Comp Kit with new coilovers it is just more expensive. Seems like the Fabtechs sag a little to unless you get an AAL???
I had a procomp on my truck and it looked fine. The truck was levelled and also I can say the lift is solid. I did use the truck to go through deep mud, rock, and other fun things. Also, a lift is good if a big truck run a redlight, you will get out of the accident without much damage on yourself,...the truck is unfortunately history..

anyway, if you choose fabtech, it is also a good looking lift with one advantage, the steering stabilizer. Very nice to have when you have big tires.

Well, I recently purchased a pro comp 6" suspension lift myself and I started putting it on yesterday (A Saturday) at 0900 hours at my base hobby shop.
So far, I have the following cons for pro comp;
The instructions say 5-6 hours with hand tools and no welding. That might be true if I put them on every day... but I don't, so it ain't.
Some of the hardware was not properly labeled when following the instructions. This was a fairly minor problem as I was able to figure it out with a little common sense and the pictures helped there too. But still, it should of been right.
The replacement spindles have holes where you transfer existing hardware to them... however they are missing threads! That one really pissed me off.
At this point I have all of the front suspension done except remounting the spindles, and that took about 7 hours and 15 minutes.
That said, I will say that the kit seems solid, the replacement parts are beefy and the crossmembers are thicker steel than the factory stuff. And it all went together pretty well up until the untapped holes
I've taken a lot of pics along the way and I'm going to build a little webpage with pics and some dialogue of my experience when I have it complete so I can share it.
