Rize question

I am considering an 8" rize suspension kit and running 37 x 13.5 x 20 tires...not sure what wheels but all i know is 20 x 10...sound good?

to the question-- if i buy a "complete kit" is there anything else i need to do to lift the rear to level, or will the kit be all i need? i always hear of people buying suspension lifts and then putting blocks or add a leafs in the rear to level the truck out...

thanks, any help is much appreciated

The kit should make the truck sit level. As for wheels, I'd go with a 20x9 with between 5 and 6 inches of backspacing, depending on how far you want the wheel/tire to stick out.

Nope, you'll need an add-a-leaf to make it sit level.

I've got a 2" Deaver add-a-leaf and mine sits perfectly level with the Rize 5" block.

i want my tires to stick out about 2". i have a 2" autospring leveling kit on right now so does that mean im going to need a higher addaleaf? also, what do you mean when you say 5" block? i that what is used to raise the rear of trucks with suspension lifts?

i want the mkw m26 wheels. they only come in 20 x 9 with 30 offset and 6.18 in. backspacing.....

i think that is too much backspacing if i want the 13.5 inch tires to stick out..

what do you think would be the ideal backspacing/offset to have the 13.5 in tires stick out about 2"

Check out my gallery, tell me if you like the tire/wheel fitment. My wheels are 20x10 with 4-5/8" backspacing. The thing with the Rize is that it doesn't increase track width at all so what looks right on a truck with another lift won't be the case with yours if you use the Rize lift.

The Rize comes with a 5" block in the rear to create the lift, it replaces the factory 2" block.

Are you going to keep the Autospring 2" on when you use the Rize 8 inch? If so, than yes you'll need a bigger add-a-leaf in the rear to make it level. Otherwise you could pony up and get a custom set of leaf springs from Atlas or Deaver. I think longer shocks would be a need as well but I'm not positive.

alright thanks for the info.
thumper--your setup is ideal. if i end up doin the 8" rize, i will do the 20 x 10 with 4 5/8 backspacing, 37 x 13.5 x 20 tires, take off the 2" AutoSpring, and do a Deaver add-a-leaf. i would also do an edge performance tuner as well as larger gears (because i only have 2.55 right now ).

sound good? you have 37 x 13.5 wide tires right?
anyone know where i can get gears?
