What A Beautiful Mess I'm In....SOS!!!!!!!!
I used to have a chevy 2500 HD, I put the 9 in Full throttle lift on and it was BIG $$ back then. It was huge for 9inch's. I loved it. I like that its black not silver like the rize. One other thing, I did blow out a ball joint after a couple months and the truck was brand new. To much stress on it, i blew it out coming out of a parking lot going a little fast. So thats my 2cents gl, and post some pics im about to lift mine and im torn also!

From the rear if you walked up behind the trucks, and didn't know any better, you would have thought mine was a two wheel drive, and his was a four wheel drive. If I'm going to spend that kind of money, there better be a drastic difference between the two, and for me there wasn't enough. So I drove to my hometown, and purcahsed the 12-inch Full Throttle and it should all be completed in about a week and a half as it takes about 4-5 days to come in and they cannot order it until Monday. Here is what else I found out...the Rize drives like a dream, and the way the suspension attaches to the frame is a great design, and it keeps with the geometry of the truck. For me I'm looking for bigger, and I'm just be honest with my self, and to you. Were all unique I guess, and we all have our own ideas. I took pics and will post before and after after the lift is completed.
my vote is for Rize, i know nothing about either, but i think overall you will be happier on a daily driver with 8" instead of 12" And if i were into it, i would trust rize for quality parts before i trusted FT
I loved the way that Rize felt driving the truck. Its not easy to make that decision, but its done now, I went with the Full Throttle, so I must live with the result. I'll post plenty of pics for everyone to see. Now the anticipation of what the Full Throttle is going to look like is setting in, will I be happy and all of that, so wish me luck.
I would go with the rize. The thing I would check are the rules of your state regarding height allowed for a truck. In Indiana, the maximum distance allowed from front bumper to ground is 32". You may want to look into it before you go for 12". Also, inssurance may have a problem with that. They may consider that as a show truck.
Rize is really great looking and I agree 8" with 37" is not small at all. It is really massive.

I'll be leaveing them the truck on April 30th and it should be done by the second. I' m getting 38's, I spoke to the dealer and he said that although the full throttle web site says the tire size you can have is 39.5, a 38 is better, with absolutely no rubbing, which I like. I did check out the Bulletproof web site and like the look of the trucks with their 12-inch lift. You all should take a look at that web site and see how sweet they look, they don't look like some monster truck, atleast to me, they just look nice. I'm going to contact my dealer in the morning and see about the bullet vs the full throttle. The only thing I'm not big on with the full throttle is the big blocky frame in the front, you know i like how the Rize sorta veers up, the bullet proof looks better in the front opposed to the full throttle. Pics will be up the day after I get the truck with the lift.
You all must keep in mind that I had a 2 wheel drive 99 f-150, which I will post that had a 7.5 fabtech suspension and then a 3 inch body on 35's and it looked great, then made the awful mistake of getting a 2004 dodge 2500 heavy duty that had a 8 inch lift on it with 39.5 inch tires on it. When I first got it I was beside myself with the height, and the Hemi, but after a while it didn't seem so high, even though it towered over other trucks. Its all in what your used to and I like a big truck period, its a very bad addiction, as I'm sure most of you will agree, an expensive one too.
I have already paid the guy on Saturday. I plan on calling him 1st thing tommorow and ask him if he can do the bulletproof for the same money. If he can I plan on it. Did you check out the photos on there web site?
some guy in my town got the Full Throttle 12 on a ragged out f150 and it looks like SHIIIITTT.... thats my opinion it looks so bad because the huge spacers...it doesn't look tough at all with stock coils on it. i think the best lift would be the cst and a body lift.... i hate the full throttle's huge front cross member... my friend's duramax with a 16" FTS has the worst ground clearance....
