Seems really expensive for your year of truck. . I'd expect that much for a new body style. I'd try another shop in your area.

i have a 05 f150, and the kit ran me 275$ (bought it online) www.suspensionconnection.com. and the install ran me 500$. and its alot bigger PITA on these newer f150's. I would defineatly search around for a better install price.

The PA kit for the 97-03 F-150's is around $135 and Gap Guards are about $75.

Where are you able to get the lift that cheap? The cheapest I could find anywhere was $165 not including shipping.

same here, but the gap guard is $75.00 and worth every penny..I got quoted $600, for my 01 screw for the PA 3" lift, I just did it myself, its not to bad...just takes a little time..its a great kit..Heck for $1400 I would get the 6" tough country or fabtech or another, and do it myself as well..I did a 3" body lift and 2" torsion key kit for less than $500 in parts...

I bought mine in 2002. They may have gone up over the years.
