2wd

Currently I have a 2WD with 6-6 1/2" lift on it, and 35's, I have no rubbing at all, unless I tow my boat and then the rear fenders will hit the tires when I go over a large bump.

I currently have 3 1/2" spindles on the front, those are coming off for the 7" spindles that I have now, and I will be adding a bodylift, 3".

So along with my 2 1/2" spacer I will be at 12-13" lift on this truck, think 38's will fit? I am thinking so, 38x15.50x20 will do the trick.

I think I would stick with 37's. The reason I say this is because 38x15.50's is a really, really tight fit on a 4x4 with 9 inches of lift, which would be the same height as a 4x2 with 12 inches of lift. The difference with a 4x2 is that most all suspension lift, including spindles, increase your front track width which can cause fitment problems. How much will the new spindles increase your track width over OEM spindles.

I have had a 99 4X4 with a whiplash 10" lift and easily ran 38.5x15.50's so I would "think that" with the 12-13" on the 2WD 38's will fit....but not sure.

My front is already just a bit wider than stock cause I currently have 3.5" spindles on it, and I think these new spindles are just a bit wider.

Now heres why I feel the 38's will work.....as I said I have 6-6.5" lift on my 2WD right now, and I have 315x70x16 on it no problem, this most people do not think would fit, but it does. I mean a 4x4 with a 6" lift only fits 35's right?.....lol...yeah right.

Thanks for the input, anyone else have anything to add or maybe exoerienced the same deal here?

BTW heres a pic of it now with the 35's
