2.5 spacer

Ok. I found some 2.5 spacers on ebay for $79.99 with free shipping. I am wanting these to go on when i put my 6' fabtech lift on in 2 weeks. They are the one piece instead of the 2 piece. Will these work ok to give me that extra lift to fit 35's? This is for a 06 4x2.

You are talking about the ones from topgunzcustoms correct? We put a set of these on my buddy's 05 FX4 almost two years ago and he loves the way it improved the stance of the truck. No problems with them to date and I will probably be adding a set to my 07 when it is delivered.

I currently have a 2.5" leveling kit on my truck, but I'm going to get mine removed when I get my Fabtech lift installed. Reason being is with the Fabtech kits on 2WD trucks you have to get the 5" blocks or you'll sit lower in the rear than you do in the front. Now adding a 2.5" spacer will make you sit even higher so you'll have to go with an AAL in addition to the larger blocks. The guy at the shop doing my install said if I went with that combo I would need longer rear shocks then what the Fabtech lifts come with. Just something to think about.

Thanks!!

Been running this setup for almost a year and a half with no balljoint problems, I am running a 5" block in the rear..

I swaped the 2" block out for a 5" block.. The only downfall to running the 2.5" spacer with the lift is that there is alot of bumpsteer, but that can be fixed with a steering stabilizer..

2.5" as

?? If I add 2.5" as back on will the rr sit 1" or 1.5" Lower ??. A call out to TXF150 Can we get some measurements and some pic`s [straight-profile shots] My main issue is ball joint wear. Like I said in another thread, I had the 2.5"as on my truck for about 8 month b4 my lift and had no problems. any info is help full. Thanks

silver - it can be done, no doubt about that. I have had discussions about TX about his setup as well because I thought long and hard about keeping my leveling kit in. His truck does sit a little lower in the rear because of the 2.5" spacer he kept on his truck. For me that wasn't an option and I didn't want to spend the extra money on a separate AAL and longer shocks. I don't think our trucks look bad either way once the 6" lifts are installed.

You are right. I think i will look good either way, i'm just worried about rubbing with 35's. I just found some 2' spacers on ebay and think i might go with those. They are just 1/2 shorter than the 2.5 but should be ok and im sure better for my cv angles.
