questions about coil spring spacers

if i add 1.5" coil spring spacers in the front do i need to get my car re-alligned? and if so about how much does that cost?

how hard is it to get the coil spring out? and is it really that dangerous? and about how long does it take to add the spacer?

you need a spring compressor it cost about $80 to have it done, you need an alignment the price depends on you wheel and tire size probably around $70. doing this yourself expact 1 hour to an hour and a half if its your first time.

He has a 2001 so he doesn't have coilover shocks. He has a standard dual a-arm and coilspring suspension.

i put the 2" coil space on my 97, it was pretty straight foward. just put a jack under the lower a arm so the spring doesnt go flying out when u take off the spindle. the hard part was trying to get hte lower a arm low enough so that i could put he coil with the spacer back on. me and my dad did both sides in about 3 hrs, but we work on all of our cars, old and new so we had and idea what we were doing.
