Big 'ol nuts and bolts

Hey fellas

Anyone who has done a spacer kit on a later model install remember what size the nut and bolt heads are that fasten the strut to the lower control arm?

This is on an '05 2wd -- they are pretty large and i am going to have to pay a visit to Sears to expand my tool collection

Thanks in advance

If they are the same as a 4x, the really big one is 1 3/16" my Sears only had it in 3/4' drive. The small one I think is 1 1/16" - had that in my arsenal already.

It's actually a 30mm axle nut socket. I borrowed one from autozone. All you have to do is leave a $15 deposit and you get it back when you return the tool. There's no need in buying it since this is the only time you will probably ever need it.

I bought one of these at autozone for 8bucks. I figured I would just buy it instead of rent it. Never know when I might want to do something else with it.

Never met a tool I didn't "need" anyway. I went with the SAE socket (difference is .0075") because the SkyJacker instructions called it that way. The advantage of the 3/4" drive socket was it ended up deep enough to not need a deep socket. I have a buddy with a 3/4 drive rachet... and the extra handle length is nice when you go to tighten and loosen (341 ft lbs!!!).
