New Front Shocks

I need to put on some new front shocks, Im not a great mech, but I am capable of working on the truck myself. How hard is it and what are some of your shocks of choice for my 02 SCrew FX4

Thanks a ton.

never did shocks on a f150 only on a 94 trooper and it wasnt hard. As to what shocks to go with. it is what kind of ride do you want.

on the new f-150 you can do it with the tires left on the truck

Thanks guys it was easy, however due to price and convenience I went with the Monroe Reflex, they had some good reviews for that shock and I can always upgrade now that I know how to do it, and it is fairly inexpensive..

Thanks Again

I have the same shocks you just put on. they are way better than the stock ranchos. I think you will like them

what!!!!!!!!! left on the truck! font shocks on the newer f150's are coil overs the front tires deffinitly need to come off unless your planning on putting a spring compressor in your wheel well.... which isnt possible.... you need to take apart most of the front end to get in there.
