Black RIZE pics

Well, got some of my stuff back from powder coating today. I liked the silver on the RIZE kit, but I have a silver truck. It would have been way to much silver for me. Plus I want to be a little different. So I got everthing coated in black. I am still waiting on all the crossmembers though. They should be done tomorrow. Here is a quick shot of the control arm support strut....

I thought that someone said painting the kit would void the warranty? Anyways it looks much better black, IMO.

Thanks for the kind words. I hope the truck turrns out the way I had planned. It would be done if my leaf springs were here. Oh well, custom stuff means more time and $$. Both of which are in short supply as of late.LOL

When I called RIZE they said " yup, no warranty if you modify it in any way". Oh well, it looks well built. I doubt there will be any issues. Fingers crossed.

That's gonna look good. I can't believe Rize voids a warranty due to paint.

Thanks. My wheels/tires were my compromised items. I was going to run Racline wheels with boggers, but this truck is going to be used for work and fun. I couldn't see running $2k wheels that will be submerged in mud. That and dealing with the vibration from the boggers. So after alot of debate with the GF and other friends, I decided to get some Pro Comp 6089 wheels with Goodyear MT/R tires. I still may pick up the Raceline / bogger combo for shows. Who knows?

Yup they are 37's. The MT/R's have limited sizing .No 38's. They do come in a 40x13.25x17.

I use the word "compromised" very losely. I am happy with all the choices I have made thus far.
