newbie here

hey you guys whats up? currently in afghanistan and had wifey pick up the new truck. its an 07 supercrew fx4.....my question is this is the rize industries kit worth it?cheapest i have found is 2500 ,any place cheaper that yall know of? the plan is rize 8" lift ,20" moto metal 951's and im stuck on tire size.....im leaning towards 37's....this is my first truck ,i have been a jeep guy most of my 25 years...hahha...thanks in advance for all the help.

Congrats on the new truck and welcome to the site. After joining this website the next lift I'll buy will probable be a RIZE so you made a great decision, I dont think you could wrong with the 37's the question is what brand would you be going with. Keep us updated and sage trip home.

well after much searching on here and your replies it looks like i was leaning in the right direction anyway.......for tires im thinking the nitto terra's...def expect many questions here in a week or to when i get home....hahaha.....im freaking excited

nittos wont last you long... the tread life on them is near nothing... they just for looks... with 8" lift.. go with 31x10.5 or 32x11.5 tires... those would look best on it.. or some 235/75/15's that would be tight... your truck would be 1 of a kind. GL with that!

Don't forget changing gears too. 37's are are hard to push with stock gears..... I was running 37;s and had to lower the gears to 4:56.
