Well the only thing that i don't like about the body lifts is that whenever you put them on you can see the frame and all that other **** under neath there. I like the suspension lifts myself. Sure they are more money but i think they look alot better.

Mine was about 600 installed. Like everyone always get the most lift you could afford. I love the way mine looks for being a daily driver. Everyone coplains about seeing the frame but i dont think there is much of a difference.

Quote cliff-What town are you moving to? I have a plow on the truck and theres a guy in mendon, ma who services my plow but hes a mechanic. Ron Champney auto. He'll do anything. Aftermarket stock, whatever you throw his way! And hes extremely reasonable! $50/hr quote

I'm moving to west roxbury. Good part is it will save me mile as I'll be taking the train. Down side is I love driving my truck.

HEY! I was in west roxbury the other day..small world..yeah...the train is good but as for driving the truck ehh...you got me there! I've never done any offroading but Im pretty sure theres no anywhere too great in ma...I know i've talked to you before about your body lift but I just have a few more wuestions if you don't mind...You could single handedly push me over the egde to buy the damn body lift and just shut up! First, are you happy with 3"? Also..as far as the trailer hitch is concerned..does it look absolutely ridiculous when it is 3" lower than the body? I still have to tow with it and I cant move it with the bumper so I'll have to leave it where it is.It soesnt look bad at all in your pics, but I cant really judge how low it actually is. And finally..is your truck leveled? Thanks a lot!

I'm happy with 3 inches. It is not levelled. I will level it in the near future with the Bilstein 5100 pre-load adjustable shocks. I don't do heavy off-roading. With a short wife and an infant the 3 inch is plenty. Since most of my driving is pavement I do not need a huge lift or massive tires. Also my financial situation did not allow me to spend 5-6 G's on a lift new wheels and tires. As for the hitch, I don't really notice it. I'm rarely following my truck. A nice Hitch cover distracts the eyes. Personally I don't think it looks bad.

Yeah, your in the same boat as me then, I def dont have that kind of money, I wouldnt even have the tires if I didnt get the deal of a lifetime on them($1,000 mb motoring 20" wheels and mud grapplersw/ 2,000 mi on them!) I could'nt pass it up! From the pictures The hitch doesnt look half bad to me onm your truck..Its kind of tough to judge what mine will look like because not only do I have the towing package, I have dual exhaust out the back, (and im guessing that would also look lower?) as well as a plow mount in the front. It going to be a tough decision from here. I just dont want the truck to look ridiculous after I spend all the mtime and moneyu on the body lift. You've been a really big help and I really appreciate it so thanks a lot!
