Help in deciosion on 3" body lift

hey i have a stock 97' f-150 extended cab 2x4. I wanted to put a 3" body lift on it and run 275/70/16 br goodwrich all-terrains. I began thinking that the lift would leave a hole underneath the body in the wheel well and you could see through to the other side. is there a way to fix this or should i drop down to a 2" body. any information on this is needed. thanks

Go ahead and do the 3 inch body lift or you will just regret it later. Bigger is better. I have pics of my Gap Guards in my gallary.

I'd go with the 285's personally.
