New Question for Wandell...I think

OK, I've searched and researched this site, as I have always done, but I have a dilema after installing my 2" AS. My truck sits almost exactly level (if a hair lower in back), and it looks awesome with my new 20x9's and 285/65/20.

The dilema is I haul a 600 lb 4 wheeler often in the back, and don't want the pre-runner look times two... So... when I purchased my AS, I also purchased the skyjacker 1.5" AAL. I have read that most get 2 full inches of lift with the AAL, which I don't want.

The question:
Will this work:
Remove 2" factory block, install 1" block and the 1.5 AAL.

The objective would be minimal lift, while providing better sag resistance under load.

Thoughts? Where can I find a 1" block?

BTW, thanks to everyone on this site. Search is a wonderful thing. All the work I have done to my truck was a breeze with everyone's step by step procedures and pics.

Scott

u can do that or u can also remove the block all together and use the add a leaf and with the atv in the bed it will not sag as much.

As I recall, the factory block has the bumpstop mount off the side, therefore it won't be as easy as just using a different block.

The best setup would be airbags to allow you to control the rear height depending on load.

I know I'll probably get flamed, but I still think levelling kits are silly, trucks need to ride higher in back so that when loaded they level out. I know lots of guys like the style, but it definitely reduces the truck's ability to be a truck.

Most suspension companies make different size blocks form 1 inch to 5 inches tall. THat's the advantage of a lift block. You know the exact amount of height you are getting.
