Nerf Bar's with a body lift

is this possible? where do they bolt up to on the new body style f150's, and will i need to modify anything since the body lift is on?? 04-07 f150's, supercrew. Any brand recommendations?

I could be wrong, but I believe the bars bolt to the frame, so the body lift shouldn't cause any problems at all.

How much body lift you talkin? They do bolt to the frame and if you lift your body too much it will look kinda silly IMO.

Not really...i'm assuming that he's looking for some sort of step, which would mount to the body on the new ones. If he's looking for "sliders" you might be right I dont know if there are sets which would connect to the frame.

its a 3inch body, on a 05 f150. iam look at the ones you have muddyape, the ones you have in the pic of your truck with the 2" as, what type are those, and how did they bolt up? whered you get em?

Those are factory 5" ovals and they mount directly to the body with brackets. I bought the truck with them on.

Yep, they bolt to the body. Plus, they would help cover up the gap with a body lift.

even the aftermarket ones they sell on like ebay bolt to the body and not the frame?

Those are OEM right? OEM step bars bolt to the body. I've taken mine off and put them back on twice...I'll take a picture to prove it if need be.

yes they are oem. Came with my truck from the dealer. And yes I meant body not frame in my earlier post sorry.
