Cooling Radiator with Body Lift

Well, got my 05 f150 2wd back today from getting a 3" PA body lift put on, everything looks pretty solid and tight except for NO FAN SHROUD!!! Really pisses me off, the guys were kinda playing hokey at the shop, and it seems like they were rushing everything. Well looks like they gave up on modifying the fan shroud, and just left it off. Now i know when it starts getting hot out iam defineatly going to have overheating problems. It looks like the motor and actual fan is sitting about 3 inches lower than the radiator now. This is probably why they gave up on it, and left it out. How did you guys go about getting the shroud to work?? Iam going to attempt to fix it myself, but need some first hand suggestions...Any help is greatly appreciated, for iam running without the shroud right now, and iam getting scared of overheating. thanks so much.

I'm not sure about the new F-150's, but on mine the kit contained brackets that simplly lower the shroud 3 inches. I bet they broke the shroud somehow and hoped you would never notice. I'd go back and let them know about it.

yea i called them this morning, i have to call him back because he needs to look for it and he has 5 customers he has to help. I am hoping they have it, because iam sure i will have some cooling problems when it starts getting hotter around here. I am going to fix it up myself if they have it and its not ruined. I have a feeling that they couldnt get the actual fan off because they didnt have the special tool ford supplies to get the fan off, so they either cut it or ripped it off. Wandell, i think this shop kinda half assed this body lift. what are some things i need to check that are properly secured and intact correctly, to make sure i dont run into any problems. Any help is great, thanks alot.

I'm not familar with the 04-07's but I'd take a copy of the instructions and go through each step to see if there work looks correct.

I would be demanding that the stuff gets replaced correctly! Half *** work pisses me off.
