yah helper bags are used in towing applications to help support rear end spring sag under heavy load.
slam bags themselves are pretty cheap 300 an axle, you get more expensive then that b.c in the front you have to tub out the fenders, the rear you have to tub the bed, notch the frame, add air cylinder/compressor. you also need to have some kind of skid plates on the frame incase you drop it while moving, and if you have anything other then reg cab you will need to tunnel the driveshaft on the rear of the cab too.
total you are looking at around 1200 if you do everything yourself, and upwords of 2000 to have someone do it for you.
but i guess you are asking who has best set up, pretty much any of them will work, but sometimes local shops will put together a kit thats better then some of the "bolt in" kits that you can find online
