Got My RCD and it rides great!

Hey guys

Well as you read i had an RCD kit installed (98xlt 4.6 4x4 manual trans ) and im loving it. so far from what i can see the front axles are dam near horizontaly straight going to the cv joint wich is a good thing if your concerned about geometry causing wear. the guys who installed the kit said they didnt have a problem all the parts went together well and that its one of the best kits theyve worked with not to mention the nice silver billsteins!absolutley no allingnment issues rides straight.

As for tires i went with procomp 35" M/T's on 16" rims, the tires are still fresh and im hoping that i can make em last, im currently running them at 45psi (they say max 50). I am running the stock 3.55 gears and its tolerable but i hope i can scrape together money for 4.10s because i dont really want to off road with these unless in 4 low correct me if im wrong im still a noobie . just thought some of you might be interested to hear about the rcd kit and by the way could someone tell me how often i should rotate thes m/t's? id post a pic but dont know how

cheers

Rotate every 5000 miles - some guys do it every oil change (easier to remember) or every other.

45psi is a little much... look in your driver's side doorjam for the air pressure your tires should have. It's different in each vehicle...so that's gonna be the best pressure to run on the street.
