shackle drop?

shackle drop?

im not really sure if i can do this. i want to drop the rear of my truck without spending alot of money. can i just get lowering shackles and bolt them on, or do i have to get alot of other things to make it work?

You can buy just shackles anywhere pretty much, and they are extremely easy to put on. There is a how-to article on this site that tells you how to do it.

my belltech 2" shackles cost 48 w/ tax and i put them on in an hour by myself

ive looked around at my local shops, they all want about $125 for a ground force kit installed. does that price sound about right?

I paid $94 just for my kit.

Yes, mine was simple, but I have an 05. Yours should be easy if you have the ability and the tools. If not, have them done by a shop.

well i have the tools, and i think i have the ability. so it looks like i will be installing them next weekend. wish me luck.
