Thanks to all of you. I'll tell you though I really appreciate you fella's with 8"+ of lift especially with 39's. I'm getting old but not that old and 5 1/2" to 6" over factory (with tires) is a big truck. You guys got to be monsters.

MuddyApe... Your truck does look sweet. I like the stance of it, Nice and Even. The factory rims also look very nice with those BFG's. I also agree with you, these guys with 8plus" of lift are driving some monsters. I run 35" tires I just can not imagine 39's... and 15.5" wide "Wow"

Once again good job! I like to see the Do-it-Yourself guys install their own modifications. It's fun and very rewarding. It also allows you to learn more about your truck. We(my son and I)enjoyed our installation although I must admit I got a little nervous a few times but everything worked out great. Congratulations on your project. BoB

CGATOR, I bought it for $1750 shipped from Summit Racing. I did however just check their site and it looks like it went up a little. You can also check Performancelifts.com they had it for similar price I think. Bought it back in the beginning of November. As far as shops to install ? thats tough, not many 4X4 shops around where I am. At least not ones that work on these.

Is it just the Rancho or do you have a leveling kit as well? I just picked up my spanking new larriat supercrew on tuesday night. So I'm thinking about lifting it already. I miss the View from up in my old F250!

Just the Rancho 4". Remove the 2" rear block and put in a new 4" block (2"lift), front end is a full 4" with sub frame, knuckles etc. levels it right out and angles in the front are perfect. Rides on factory coils and leafs with Rancho 9000 shocks.

Dead sexy!!! What is your overall height? Can you get in a 7' garage?

Yes, with the 4" lift and 35's it does fit in the garage-just barley. I could not find the post where I measured the truck, but I think it was about 82 inches overall.

Muddyape,

Did you install the Rancho lift yourself?
If so, how tough was it and how long did it take to install?
Any welding/cutting/drilling required?

I know they list it as a "True Bolt On" suspension, but I think they say that because there is no mods to the tranny or driveline.

I'm in the market for a lift, would rather have a suspension than body, but would really like to do it myself.
