Coil Spacer for 2001 F-150

I am wanting to get a coil spacer for the front of my 2001 F-150 Supercab 2wd. I have a 3" spindle lift on there now and i added a 3" block to the back, so it still has that factory rake.

My main question is how hard is it to install a set of these things? I don't have any air tools, but I have a friend who does and also has a lift. Is this something I can accomplish myself?

I know i gotta get a alignment after i do it, but other than that and the cost of the spacers it will be pretty cheap.

you can do it your self with a jack, jackstands, and some hand tools

you can get a 1.5" spacer from SKG motorsports for $40

Yeah, you basically remove the coilsprings, install the spacers on them and reinstall them. You may or may not need adjustable camber bolts to get your alinment correct so you might as well install them while you are at it. They are around $40 at most parts stores.

THe adjustable camber bolts are basically just bolts with an adjustment cam on the end that replace the bolts in your A-arms. THey just give you more adjustment for camber. If you do a search at some of the big parts store's websites they will probably have pics.

That should have nothing to do with it. Now, ball joints are high wear items on our trucks. Are yours worn out? If they are, they need to be replaced.
