Rear End Droop
Rear End Droop
First off Im new, really glad I found this place. I have a 2006 F150 FX4 with a 6 in Fabtech lift 17x9 MM 951 w/35's I noticed the rear of the truck seems to sag a little compared to the front. Has anyone else experienced this and if so whats the best way to correct it. Thanks

Its all good, I have the 1.5" aal from skyjacker but im not lifted like you are just a level kit and the aal. it might put a slight rake back into the truck idk hopefully someone lifted will chime in. the user name is all good just make a sig thats enough difference! unless your truck is red!

Sorry I have no pics of my truck, but I went with the Rancho lift, then started to get crazy. Wanted a little more lift.... added the daystar leveling kit up front and a shorter shackle in the rear, which due to the ford design actually lifts the rear a little. Found that the rear was still a little lower than the front. Added another block in the rear, I know bad idea but the shop that did the work for me made a custom one for me. Now the truck sits perfect.
What I should have done was go with an add-a-leaf instead of the second block because now I need traction bars. (not cheap) With the 2 blocks and the added leverage, I get wheel hop when accelerating because the rear spring torques so much.

1.5 Aal
Hey FX4LIFE, I was wondering about that 1.5 AAL, I've got 2" Level kit, and want to get the back a little higher, almost same set up as you...Give me feedback from the AAL. Changed the drive a lot?
Should I go with a block instead?
Is it way stiffer when loaded?
I'm hauling a 26 foot camper 4 months a year(Dam Canadian winters!!!)....
Any comments will be apriciated

BDS and skyjacker sell new leaf packs for 5 and 6 inch lifts. It costs a little more, but you get more leafs in the pack to stop axle wrap and you will not fatigue the upper springs over time like you will with an AAL.....

depending on what you haul though. Id recommend the aal over the block, but i have never had a taller block so. . .

I think the truck also look better with a little rake, not level so its a win-win situation.
