Clicking when making long turns...joints??
i have a 2wd with a daystar 2.5" spacer. I have had it in for about 20k miles with the stock tires. I just put on 33's about 2k miles ago...and now I have a very loud clicking in the front when i turn either right or left. Is this my joints going to crap...and how long until I need to replace them if that what it is?
thanks guys...and girls.

I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news but I think it could be your upper ball joints. From everything I've heard here and even with my own truck which is a 2006 supercrew 4x2. I did alot of research and measuring and the 1.5" as spacer was as far as I would go. My truck is level within about a 1/4" and it is perfect. I cant even amagine what a 2.5 would have done to the upper ball joint angles https://www.f150online.com/galleries....cfm?num=12737. This is my angle with the 1.5".

Slow Speed Front-end Clicking
wthrower:
Did you every get rid of the front end clicking? My 05-2wd just started the same noise, moving forward at a slow speed after the truck is warm I get a clicking from the front-end, more so turning left but also right. The front end and tires are all original with 18k miles.
Any thoughts...?

Dr. Franko - clicking
I only get the clicking when turning at slow speed, at least I haven't noticed any other time. In our parking garage at work I can turn and hear it very loud, once I straighten up the wheel it stops.
My 97-F150 would make a popping noise when turning the wheel pulling forward or backing up and while applying the breaks. That turned out to be the lower ball joints. This didn't start until I had 95k miles, and this truck only has 18k.
However this sound is a clicking or creaking noise.
