Smallest LIFT??

What is the smallest lift package they offer for a 1998 Ford F-150 XLT ext. cab 2WD. I have Michelin P255/70/16 tires.

I agree. Daystar makes a couple of different coilspring spacer to lift the front of your truck up to 2 inches to level it.

coil spring spacers?

i understand the concept of coil spring spacers, exactly how difficult are they to install? Do you need a coil spring compressor. Any ideas on some decent shocks for 98 F150 XLT 2WD ext. cab? Mostly on road with little off roading.

i recommend the rancho rsx shocks, or even their rs9000x shocks depending on what you use your truck for
also look into the bilstein 5100s

Basically, you have to remove you coilspring and reinstall them with the Daystar spacers on top of them. A coilspring compressor may be helpful, but I don't think you have to have one.
