AS 2.5" towing question

This may be a dumb question but im kinda new with the leveling kits... Im about to buy the AS 2.5 kit for my 05 4x4 lariat screw and during the summer i go to the lake pretty much every weekend and haul a 30ft boat (its pretty heavy). anyone know what that will do to the ride height hauling that much weight? will the front and back go unlevel? any input would be great. thanks fellas

The actual ride height will not effect your towing capabilities in this case but with these newer Fords the rear springs are pretty soft. With it leveled it will be nose high when you have your boat hooked up. I had the same situation pulling my 20' Lund, I went with a Skyjacker 1.5" add a leaf, cost around $125 and it keeps things level with the boat on and just a slight rake and decent ride when empty. You could also check into rear air bags or progressive spring paks but you will be looking at allot more expense. Good luck.

dog'em has it right. I also have the 1.5" skyjacker aal and love it. I pull an enclosed racing trailer, or flatbed carhauler w/ equipment or materials on it. the aal handles it all great!! hardly sags under the weight of the enclosed trailer fully loaded, it doesnt like it when we have equipment on the back (i.e skid loader, front loader/box) that stuff weighs alot though. . For sure it can handle your boat, if not you could look into air bags. I have been thinking about combining the two.
