Leafs! 97f150
Leafs! 97f150
ok, i have a small irritation here.
i found some 7" arc leafs for my 97 f150 for a good price so i snagged em!
problem now lies in the articulation, it really lacks now although they are the same cargo capacity, although they hold the weight better which works great for the camper.
i kinda question the shackles now. would a longer shackle allow the axle to drop with a 7" arc? i've seen some high arc leaf setups do some big moves but mine aint doing it.
i just HATE blocks is all. its not a clean look and can be scary.

so in a nut shell if i want more flex i have to get away from my high arc's? im just not understanding how it worked on some of the 4x4's i seen with high arc leaf's and getting some big moves.
its not that a high arc wont work, but it is the number of leafs, and size of the leafs, on my pre-runner i have a LT pack that will cycle close to 18-20in. of wheel travel, i have 12 thin leafs that provide more droop, and drop shackles. Check out Deaverspring.com
ah i got like 7 leafs, decent thickness as well.
marine you can buy my 7" arc leafs lol.
actually yeah that was a serious comment. you can buy 'em and i can go with a different design that will accomodate what i wanna do more.
