Bob, In my mind GNCC and hare scrambles are more or less the same (pls do not flame me for that statement.) Both are about 10 miles courses and are a real test of your endurance. Respectly, each have their own series, classes and point structures. THE GNCC is open to both dirtbikes and quads and is sanctioned by the AMA.

Here is link to GNCC's page.

Yeah tripn is correct both are hare scrambles usually the GNCC races are a little longer time wise at least compared to my local races. My local stuff is 2 hrs and my class in GNCC is 3 hrs and that extra hour can be tough.

Hey just wanted to say sorry for high jacking the third on motorcycle talk but I'm addicted to them, at least I can admit it

Thanks for the good information on the lifts and I hope to purchase either the Rancho or Super lift between now and next spring. I see to many nice looking lifter trucks on this site and at the track. Plus I always wanted to mod my trucks in the past and never did so I think I will on this one finally.

Hopefully you all will check out a race or two my friend rides pro quad class in GNCC's and does pretty well. I do the bike thing and might hit a few more of them this year if not all.

Hey HillBilly or Tripyn69... Do either of you have a web site relating to your LOCAL racing status? We here in District 29 NC have a site but it is down right know for updates. I will post the URl once it is online again. Just looking for some local action in your area. My son, Jason, Just loves this stuff. When er were at Edwards AFB, CA. we went to Anaheim and watched the SuperCross. Thats when Jeremy McGrath was Kicking A$$. We really enjoyed that event... BoB

Happy Holidays!

BoB here are some links for my local area I ride at Budds Creek all the time and my one club works the nationals weekend for him and will be working the MX Des Nations this year. I haven't raced much the last two years been busy with house projects but plan on racing more again this year. I do Hare Scrambles and usually follow District 7 but attend a few VCHSS races in Virginia and some of the closer GNCC's. Now if I get a enclosed trailer I'll probably follow more VCHSS or GNCC's. It's a fun sport for sure. The dirt biking lets me keep the truck nice and I safe the off-roading for the dirt bike it's cheaper to fix

Links Hope these help.
