Lift on an 05 Lariat

I have been wanting to lift my 05 lariat supercab 2wd for a long time but i didn't know what to get. Suspension or body lift, because money is a problem. I'm installing it and i want to keep the lift alone inder $1,000. I was thinking 3"s. Also, 35s will fit comfortably with the 3" lift right?

Thanks, john

with the 3 inch lift only, i believe you can fit them, but it will be tight, if you put on the leveling kit on top. of that, then you should be allright.

just what i have heard tho, see what everyone else has to say.

yea, but if i do them both, will there be no rubbing at all, including wilth wheel turned all the way, but that is not a problem to get them both, and the installation is what usually kills, and i am doing that myself so i can fit them in my budget

honestly, there should be no rubbing, but it could be wrong. and about the install.. i just did my leveling kit.. the AS.. and it took me liek 2.5 hrs.. bc i took my time and made sure everything was right.. but seriously, to me it wasnt a one man job at allll.. i needed the extra hand, and thank god i was able to use my tire shops bay, and tools. i would have never been able to do it at home.

but if you mechanincaly inclined.. go for it. it would be a fun weekend project.

Well, a 4x2 sits about 2 inches lower than a 4x4. If cost is an issue, your best bet is a 3 inch Performance Accessories body lift and a 2 or 2.5 inch Autospring lift, if you can do the installation yourself. These two lifts will cost you less than a grand, including an aligment and allow you to fit 35's.
