Question '98 F-150 and Firestone Air Bags Question

After reading many, many leaf spring and air bag messages on the board, I'm left with one question. I've decided that I want to install Firestone Air Bags to help out my aging leaf springs and sagging butt when I tow my boat. My problem is that Firestone says that the only ones they have for my '98 truck are the Sport Rite, but I have seen messages where people have made the Ride Rite fit.

Anyone have any insight? I'd really rather put the Ride Rite in.

Answer - '98 F-150 and Firestone Air Bags Question

Official answer from Ride-Rite Tech Support:

"You may be able to make a ride rite kit fit on this application,
however, there is not one designed because the frame strength is not
great enough. If you are needing more support than what the Sport-Rite
will give you, I would recommend using a larger truck to tow with. The
sport-rite kit will support up to 3000 lbs at 100 psi, which is much
more than your truck is rated to carry. If you put a Ride-Rite kit on
this truck, Firestone will not be liable for any frame damage you may
incur due to there not being enough frame strength."
