Ball Joints

How do i take out/put the new ones back in. And what is a good brand to go with? They will be going on when I do my spindle lift.

#1. Get Moog ball joints. You can grease them.
#2. Get camber kits for the upper control arm.
#3. For the upper ball joint, the entire control arm has to be replaced.
#4. The lower ball joint has a C-Clip that needs to be removed first. Once this is done, you beat on the ball joint with a BFH. Installation is reverse, minus the beating with the hammer.

I have an 02 so is it different on the new body's? I thought that they might have to be pressed in.

I had a question for the upper control arm I didnt know you had to have a camber kit.I got the camber kit installed at the ford dealer do I still need to get the camber kit?Also I have the 7.5 fabtech on it and does the kit rid the camber kit?Thanks for the info.

If you already have the camber kits, don't worry. Just put them back in when you replace the upper control arm. I used a floor jack to press the lower one in. Once I got it started I used a jack to apply pressure.
