10 1/2"

I am new to my 03 F150 2WD Ext cab; however, I know it needs to be higher. I am looking at the Fabtech 7.5" suspension llift. I hope to top this with a 3" Performance Accessories body lift. I will probably run 38" or 40" Wranglers under it as this will be an about town vehicle, not a mudder or a rock climber. (Maybe I should have gotten the 4WD.)

I would love to have any advice anyone could offer. My buddy (a mechanic) and I hope to take on this endeavor soon.

Please email me with questions, comments, or advice.

I'm not postive about this, but I don't think you are gonna be able to fit a tire that large. I think you could fit a 37x12.50 pretty easily, depending on wheel choice, but I don't think you are gonna go much larger.

Smile Thanks

I suspected as much. I know the suspension will clear a 35"; however, I was not sure about the body lift on top of it. I don't think that there is much more I can do with my finances the way they are now to get her up there any higher. I can live with a 37" though.

i agree, i have seen a 4x2 with a fabtech 7.5" with a 3" body on 38"-15.5" but i dont know what other modifications he did to fit this size tire. good luck.

There IS something you can do....get the 7.5" kit and add an add-a-leaf in the rear and a 2.5 coli spacer in the front....along with the 3" body you will be at 13"

Thats a good bit and I thing 39.5-40's will clear easy.

I have a 2wd SCREW 01 with spindle lift and coil spacer..block in the rear with add a leaf....total 6" front 4" rear, running 35 Pro Comp Xterrains easily

i still think 40s will be a strech even with the 13" on a 4x2, i have 6" susp. 3" body torsions cranked 2" and add a leaf in the rear on my 4x4 for 11" and a 4x4x4 sits 2" more than a 4x2 and i can still only fit 38" 15.5" and this took some cutting and moding of the wheel well and brake lines. if i went with a skinier tire i might be able to fit 39-40" but they would only be 12.5 or so inches wide. i think with the combo you stated 38" would be the max

Right, and the 97-03 4x4's sit about 3 inches taller than the 4x2's.
