AS 2.5 On!

ok. leveled my truck yesterday morning. it did not quite go up 2.5". not too worried about it though. it took about 2 1/2 hours. would have been much faster if we could find all the tools we needed.

the driver side was a pain in the rear, and the passenger side went rather smooth.

one thing to remember...when reconnecting the upper ball joint to the spindle, be sure that the sway bar link is lined up properly. we forgot about the sway bar and had to remove the ball joint again. not fun.

so far so good, the angle on the ball joint does look quite extreme, but not worried. it is fairly easy to replace if need be. if you can do this install yourslef, you should have no problem replacing your ball joints.

now i want to raise the rear...looking for a full aal. anyone know of which is good?

I have the AS 2.5" on mine and since I pull a 20' boat wanted to raise the back up or at least keep the truck level. I went with the Skyjacker 1.5" and couldn't be happier.

x2!! I also have the 2.5" AS and the 1.5" skyjacker AAL and love it! I tow a 16' enclosed racing trailer, and it hardly sags under the weight now.

Good luck, Heres a pic. .
