I need to know asap what size socket it will take to tighten up the linkage to raise front end of 2002 f-150 fx4 screw. Forgive my stupidity but I can't remember what the heck the adjustment bolt is called.

I take it you are adjusting the preload on your torsion bars. I believe the adjustment bolt is an 18mm.

 

I tried that and it doesn't fit...Thanks though.

I have tried everything metric and standard I have and it still doesn't fit. It's a little nerveracking to say the least.

 

DO YOU HAVE A CALIBER TRY FINDING THE SIZE WITH IT

 

The closest thing I have is a tape measure... I guess I should have thought of that before. Couldn't hurt?
