what the heck is this????
My 97 f150 leaned to the left at the rear. When I took it in the mechanic told me that the front suspension has adjustable height. If the front is unlevel by a slight amount it makes the back off by alot. He adjusted the torsion bars just slightly on the front suspension. When he let the truck down off the lift it was perfectly level on the back end. He said this is very common for torsion bar front ends. He checks the level on all of them when he does front end alignment's. The best part is that he didn't charge me anything.

why not try swaping the leafs out left to right? put the more worn out one, on the side with less weight.
Dont forget you have a (ill be nice) 175lb+ driver on that side too.
It would be alot of work to swap the leafs out, but its free so it might be worth a shot. Just make sure to use lots of C clamps to hold the leafs together, so you dont loose all the spacers, and pin alignment.

Talk to the wife
Yah,
Good idea, tell the wife its just unsafe to drive it anymore, maybe if your lucky shell buy it!
Mine has been out of level from the first day I got it. And yet I am still sleeping well at night, hehehehe. I have measured it on all kinds of different surfaces, different tanks of gas, etc. and the front is level and the one back driver side is about an inch lower. I have done many suspension mods since then and anyway, its still off by one inch. I don't even think about it anymore. Hell I had a buick century that had that permenat GM lean like someone had parked it on a curb most of its life and it rode/drove great.
Good luck fixing it if you choose to do so, but spending lots of $'s chasing a minor issue seams like a big waste to me.
