Pro Comp Shocks any Good?

I have read that they will leak and will not hold up! I have put on about 3000 miles and they ride like they are new. They seem to have a bad repetition. I know that Pro Comp dose not make them dose anyone know. I have found out that Cooper makes there tires.

Me and a bunch of my buddies from high school used to call Pro Comp, PRO CRAP cause all their stuff sucks I wouldn't buy anything made by Pro Comp unless you are a 4wheelparts lover (*cough* rip-off *cough*) sorry i got some pro crap stuck in my throat

What problems did you have with there shocks. 4WheelParts are owned by Pro-Comp and when you ask them about a product they push Pro Comp. B ut I have to say the shocks I purchesed from them work very well and at a good price.

Yeah they push Pro Crap too much I hate it...anyways i had a set of Pro Comp's on my old 01' F150 and they rode no better than the OEM shocks and I think they actually rode stiffer than the OEM's which I didn't like because the truck already rode rough as it was. Maybe they've gotten better I don't really know. I got some pretty cheap ones so maybe that was why I'm sure the top of the line ones are good but so are Bilstein's and Rancho's. I just don't really like Pro Comp stuff in general so maybe i'm just being biased.

On my first truck they told me to go with there SE shocks and they were way too stiff! When I was adding a Leveling kit they told me that I need the SE9000. I told them no way I want the SE3000. Thank god I got the SE3000 they ride very nice. My son has had them on his truck for years and they lasted twice as long as the Ranchos and much better! Not to mention the cost savings.

sounds like they have gotten better since i've bought them and yes i agree Rancho's are expensive. I'll have to give those Pro Comps another look see.
