Please Help Me Out, I Need Opinions!!!
Hello all. I have an 02 F150 FX4 5.4 Scab with 70,000mi. I've had the truck for about 1 year now with 33" BFG Muds but haven't touched the suspention yet. I am an amiture, basically all I know is the look that I want but I do plan on doing some moderate off-roading. I'm asking for your guys' expertice and opinions as to what I should do.
1) 35" BFG Muds vs. All Terrian - noise level? rubbing? price? performance? I really like the look of the black Robby Gordon wheels...opinions?
2) I dont want to spend the money on a lift kit nor do I like the look but I do want the truck levelled and I know I'll need to lift the front to fit the 35's, how high should I crank the tortion bars? If I put custom fenders to allow more room for the tires will that lessen the amount I'll have to crank? How does cranking the bars actaully affect the truck?...does it change the travel of the suspension?...etc.
3) I like the idea of adjustable shocks like the Rancho RS9000's. Are they worth it? Do they work? I like the look of the Rancho Pro Series RS9000X with the remote reservoir, is there a big difference between the RS9000X's with the reservoir vs. no reservoir? What's it for?. Will these fit my truck after the tortion bar crank?
4) I really like the baja look. How far do I crank the bars to just level the truck? How far until I get a baja look where the front is higher than the rear? Is that bad to crank that high? I know a guy with a 4x4 Screw who cranked his bars, put 35's and lowered the rear like .5 - 1.5 inches lower than stock (somewhere in that range, I forgot exactly) giving him the baja look. He replaced the leaf springs and did something else to the rear I cant remember. How do I go about doing that? Opinions...
Thank you very much for your time and help and feel free to make any suggestions.

Cranking the torsion bars will make the initial portion of the suspensions travel slightly stiffer. As for how much to crank, there is not a way to answer that because every truck seems to be set differently from the factory. Also, the only way you can fit 35's is to mount them on the OEM wheels and even then you will have some rubbing on the frame at full steering lock. I'd stick with a 33 inch tire personally.
