will this be too tight?

I own an '06 xl with a 2.5 inch spacer lift in front. I would like to put the biggest tire possible on an 18" rim. I was eyeing the Moto Metal 951's with the Nitto Terra Grappler 325/65-18, but i'm not sure it will fit without at least a body lift. I know another member put this size tire on his truck, but he's in a 4x4 and those have more ground clearance if I'm not mistaken. Anybody have a set-up like this, or does anyone know if this will fit, with minimal clearance issues....?? thanks guys!!

it wont fit.. u would need more than just a body lift. a full suspension lift would work.

with just a spacer it will be a little tight that 325- 65 -18 is about 35x13

It really depends on how wide and what backspace your new wheels will have. That tire is 13" wide so you will probably need at least a 9" wide rim. Mottos don't have allot of backspace so you will have allot of rubbing in only a two wheel drive with just a levelling kit. I would think with the body lift you would be okay but I've never messed with two wheel drive trucks.

My truck has 35" tall tires but only a 285 for width, wheels are 9" wide but have 6" of backspace. No rubbing at all.

do you think there would be enough room so that it could fit with some trimming?

Remember, he has a 4x2 that sits lower than a 4x4. I don't think he is gonna fit 325/65-18's on aftermarket wheels with only a leveling kit unless he is handy with a sawsall. They will probably fit with a leveling kit and a body lift.

Wandell is right, with a two wheel drive it's going to take both, the level kit and a body lift to run that wide of a tire.
