Level Kit Reg Cab 2wd

What is the best levelling kit i can use for my truck. The main thing I want is no rubbing. Just trying to get some slightly bigger tires on there. And also what is the best place to order from for the best price. Ive done some searching around here and found autospring was good but on another forum i heard it caused rubbing.

Really, they are all about the same. I mean it's not like a leveling kit is an overly complicated item to manufacture. I'd go with the Autospring or similar design that bolts on top of the coilover assembly. They are just easier to install than the two piece units like the Daystar.

Go to www.autospringcorp.com and you'll find a link to their eBay Buy It Now Auctions.

Which one did you buy? The 2.5" or the 2"? Seems like the majority of people use the 2.5" spacer and the front is a tad bit high at first, but settles in nice and level. The 2" spacer will end up not quite level but seems to be a good idea for people who might carry a heavy load or pull a trailer.

I'm planning on installing the 2" AutoSpring... primarily because it causes a little less stress to the suspension.

I got the 2.5, I dont plan on ever towing anything with my truck. And if I do i dont really mind looking like an idiot for that short period if I can look cool the rest of the time. im just afraid the nose will be in the air all the time.

actually It looks like it could use the 2.5 in this pic but ive been looking at it all day so who knows.

I jacked it up today and was ready to install but It started getting late and I was worried cause the instructions say i have to torque something to 225. I think I may just take it in and pay tomorrow but we'll see.

BTW, when I jacked it up, i tried to put it where I thought the kit would raise it to and it looked sick!

OK i have it installed and I have a question. The mechanic who did the alignment tried to sell me a set of bolts to allow the alignment to be dialed in. He said he got it as close as he can without the bolts. The right camber is -1.3 and the rest are fine. Will this be any problem? Do i need another alignment and if so how soon should I do it?

Ill try to take some pics once I get time to clean the baby.

Thats what I was thinking, Do you think that this amount of correction is worthy of another alignment?
