Hey,
I think I need to replace front wheel bearings on 2000 2wd half ton. are the wheel bearings sealed? any idea how much this might run me?
I'm planning to replace the bearings,I've got over 100,000 miles on the front bearings never greased them .Just forgot about them till heard a noise.

Bearings on a 2wd are a snap.... just like every 2wd pickup for the last 50 years. They use a pair of tapered roller bearings and a pair of hubbed brake rotors. To change the bearings, you're looking at about $30 per side, plus a new set of seals for about $5 each.
