Rancho Adjustable Dial Experience

Rancho Adjustable Dial Experience
Anyone have any experience with the Rancho RS9000X series of shocks. The shock has a nine position dial that can be operated either manually or with an option in-cab control. They are also offering a Rancho RS9000 TripleX which allows for height adjustment apparently similar to the lift/leveling that you can obtain from the Bilstein 5100 Preload adjustables. Does anyone have any experience with the Rancho adjustable dial shocks. Are the dial mechanisms prone to problems?? Any advice would be helpful. I am looking for a 2 inch leveling kit and a softer ride. I thought the triple X rancho shock could give me the level look I want with the ability to adjust the ride to my preference, what do you guys think???????

I have a '95 S-10 blazer. About five years ago i put the 9000's on. Back then they only had 5 settings. My thoughts were that I was way too much shock for the blazer. The lowest setting still go too much rebound.
I don't know how they will react to the heavier F-150 and the 5+ years to refine them. Not much help I know, sorry.

I have a set of the 9000's on my 2000. I having nothing other than stock to compare them too, but I am fairly impressed with them. I keep the fronts at a 2 and the rears at 3 for highway, but if I am towing or loading the back I crank them down. THe fronts can be a little difficult to get too, basically got to crawl on the ground to adjust them, if you get the manual setup. Got over 30k on them with no problems.

I am thinking about getting the rs9000x for the rears and the rs9000XXX's for the front with the built-in heighth adjustment. That way I can level the front also. I have seen the rs9000x for about $75 to $90 each. The cheapest I have seen the RS9000XXX's height adjustables for is $234.00 each. Does anyone know where I can get the XXX's for less than $234????
