i agree with thump! I was looking into it, due to height and price, but i found so many cons to it i could not justify doing that to my truck. I am instead going with a 6" fabtech! I think you would be better off getting a 2.5" levling kit and 3" blocks in the back instead of that. Or else get a 3" body lift if money is an issue but DO NOT by the skyjacker IMO. Hope this helps.

I'd like to do something like the fabtech 6" but budget wont allow not just for the kit but I do believe you cant use factory wheels. I cant afford to do tires and wheels unless I hit the lottery then there would be an all out shopping spree.

I would just get the 2.5" level kit. They are on Ebay for $100 or so.

Thats what i did so far trooks. 85$ shipped to my door and about 2.5 hours to install and i got the 2.5" lift, then if u want a little more height pay abother 30$ or so and add 2" blocks to the back for less than 200$ after alignment you gain a little over 2". Not a bad deal. You dont need to change your rims with the lift, you would only need to get larger tires, to not make it look disproportionate, but i know budget is a huge concern. Hope this helps!

The Skyjacker 3 inch lifts puts the ball joints and CV joints at way too severe of an angle.

I just called Fabtech today and spoke to tech. You CAN use your factory wheels with their 6" suspension lift(4X4). It is also stated on their website under installation instructions. Of course as you go higher you should go wider for better stability but at least you can ride on the lift until you can get some wheels and tires later on.

Hey could you please take some photos of your front axle area. I would like to see the CV/Axle angle's, and the upper control arms angle. Do you have any problems with the 3" Skyjacker lift? I have a friend that is going to purchase this system. I hope you can provide some pictures and a little feedback... How long have you had this setup? Ride quality? Rubbing/binding issues...etc. Thanks, BoB

Oh yeah, your truck looks excellent! Nice choice of color
