4-5" lift on a 2005 f150

I have a 2005 f150. I've always wanted a lifted truck, and I want to put a decent 4-5" lift on it without spending a fortune. Can anyone recomend a kit and how much would I be looking at for the lift, rims, and tires?

I have the 6" procomp without the coilover (just spacers) and it is one of the cheapest. If I am right (and I am sure people around here would correct me), it is around $1400.

Then you add the tires (35" runs between 220 to 330) and the rims (150 to 350)

total around 3000 to 3600

anyway, here is a smal picture

You can buy a levelin kit for around $100 and a Performance Accessories body lift for around $250 and get about 5 inches of lift inexpensively, if you can install them yourself.

yeah, install the body lift requires some side equipment and patience if you do it yourself. As far I can remember somedy said approximately 14 hours. Your choice, do it yourself and no warranty, get it done somewhere and most likely a warranty of parts and labor. I did get 3 years from 4wp for the lift. Not bad and also they check the truck every 5,000 miles. I am happy that I spend the money.

4-5" lift on 2005 f150

I talked to some people about having it lifted and they said it would be about 1000 to have it installed. How hard is it to install the kit yourself.
