Nice truck! Man that baby is up there. I really like the monster truck look but being "vertically challenged" I settled for a mild 4.5 inch lift. I do not see many Yellow rides. Awesome ride....

As for gearing; If you have the edge tuner can you not select a different gear ratio? That will enable the trucks computer to perform different transmission management with out actually regearing? BoB

My interpretation is that with the Edge tuner (and others) is that if you do regear then you can set your new gear ratio into the Edge so that it adjusts your shift points, speed, etc. I guess you could simply set it to a false gear ratio, but I don't know what kind of performance you'd see.

Anyone here with an Edge (or similar tuner) care to comment?

Edge Evolution tuner for 04+ f-150

I personally have not changed gears in mine, but the tuner does correct for gear changes. It has been great for my truck. I changed my tire size so my speedo works. I also reprogrammed the speed limiter to my tires. Its great to blow by other f-150's when they hit the limiter and I keep going. I would recommend it to anyone with an f-150. hope it helps
