What would it Cost?

To get the rear bushings replaced that are connected to the leaf springs on my 98 F150?

Would it be better just to replace the whole setup?

I have a VERY annoying squeak and want to get that fixed, I tried lubing the bushings, but it only worked for about a day then started up again

However I heard the installation was a bitch.

Is there any truth to this?

Very likely so. I've never done them on a ford so I may be wrong on this, and since I'm presently in Iraq I can't walk out the the truck and take a look. This is just a guess based on the experience of replacing leaf spring bushings in a different vehicle.

They aren't a bitch to do, if you have a press. I believe the one we had in the shop was a 10 ton press.
